Yarns!!! Yarns!!! Yargghh!!!

Okay, so.. in February i will go to japan with my bf and i'm planning on making a scarf for him since it's still winter there.
So i kind of ripped off an old scarf project and knit it into a new one for him.



Half way through the yards and yards of yarns then i thought, "What the hell am I getting myself into?!?"

IT'S NEVER ENDING! T-T

By now i'm thinking maybe i should worry bout myself instead cos I, myself, can't stand cold weather.. @_@

Back to reality

Back to routine, back to reality.

I'm still in holiday mood though not sure when the holiday mood will end.. Lol

Interesting way of starting a day though, it was a normal morning text and unlike me, my friend was soooo into going back to work. (Pardon me for being such a lazy ass..)


Come to think of it, it's true. Might as well keep the spirit high..
It's 2012, peeps!!!

This year my resolutions are:

1. Keep my room clean
(which usually only stays for a week)

2. Finish up half done projects
(it's still piling up somewhere inside that messy room of mine)

3. Loose some weight
(it's the first time in 6 years that my mum told me to loose some weight. it's not a good sign.. T-T)

Going back to Jakarta was fun. Mostly cos i went to Bandung with my friends and it's such a good feeling to see nice view and having good companions. Joking around with bahasa is so different than joking around in english and i really miss that.. Lol



I went to this interesting place in Bandung called Vanilla Cafe. Supa cute place!!!
I love the Brit flag sofa and the signs just when ur about to enter the place.


and the unique money door they have.. OMG! it's simply amazing..
The hinge is in the middle and it's like a glass case. They filled it in with stacks of $100 bills. of course it's fake though. But it's still a cool door!

Pardon the image quality though. It was dark n i was in a hurry.

And of course it's not fun when ur playing safe. Especially for new year.
Indonesia people sell fireworks on the streets every year during new year. it comes in different shapes and sizes.

Results?
Around 1-2 hours of fireworks display in every inch of the road.
It's super fun!!!

Saw a video that was posted by my friend today.
A video of an ad done by a local cigarette company in Indonesia, featuring Indonesia and all it's richness.

Every year they will do patriotic ad that shows Indonesian's diversity of culture and people.
It's a very traditional yet very modern in execution. Result: a very sophisticated ethnic feel.




Facts about Indonesia:

33 Province (each have their own traditional clothes, dance, song and food);

1. My friend's son had fever and after i talked to him he smiled and wanted me to carry him.. :)
